Police identify suspect in deadly conduct incident

Killeen Police have identified the suspect in a shooting that happened on June 27. 

Killeen police say a woman and man shot at employees at A Personal Touch Detailing on Veteran’s Memorial Blvd on Monday.

Police have identified Kenneth Lloyd Carter, 25, with Deadly Conduct Discharge of a Firearm and issued a warrant for his arrest. 

At 6 p.m., officers received another call saying that more shots fired had been reported. This call said that a man in a gold Ford Crown Victoria shot at an apartment and a vehicle.

No one was injured during both incidents.

Carter was being held in Bell County Jail on an unrelated charge and was served the warrant.

Carter is being held on $209,000 bail. 

After further investigation, it has been determined these two incidents are not related to any other recent shootings.
