A man robbed the Food Mart on 601 E Waco Drive Sunday afternoon.
Police said the man tried to take the money from the register, but the clerk prevented the man from grabbing the money.
The robber went around the counter and grabbed a metal rod. He threatened the clerk with the rod, and the clerk handed the man cash.
The suspect fled on foot and has not been located. There were no injuries.
