Another Fort Hood soldier was laid to rest today in Killeen, following a deadly training accidentearlier this month.

Specialist Yingming Sun was buried at the Central Texas Veterans Ceremony, his funeral was carried out in Chinese to accommodate his family.

After a touching message from Specialist Sun's Chaplin, he was honored with a gun salute and taps.

His family was then presented with American flags for his service.

Sun was 25 years old and would have turned 26 next month.

His life was cut short on June 2, 2016, after the tactical vehicle he and eleven other soldiers were riding in, overturned in a flooded creek. The circumstances of that accident are currently under investigation by the Army Combat Readiness Center out of Fort Rucker, Alabama.
