WACO, TX (KXXV) -

The Waco Police Department and Jimmy John’s Sandwiches have partnered up to reward good citizenship from children in the Waco area.

Officers will hand out Free Sub Cards when they see a kid being a positive role model.

The officers will begin passing out these cards starting Thursday, June 14.

“We believe this opportunity to reward our community’s kids and interacting with them in a positive way is a wonderful opening to help develop positive citizen/police relationships with our future,” the Waco Police Department said in a statement.

The sub cards will be good at any of the 5 Waco area locations.
