More than 7,000 people were without power Sunday night as heavy rainstorms rolled through Central Texas.

According to Oncor's website, nearly 200 outages were reported.

TxDOT officials warned drivers to pay attention to the roads. According to Jodi Wheatley with TxDOT, intense rains in Hill and McLennan Counties were creating dangerous conditions along I-35 and other roads. Wheatley said flooding is likely.

Waco police were urging people to stay off of the roads. Officers were seeing major flooding of creeks and low areas due to the heavy rains.
