Heart of Texas FCA Victory Bowl week kicks off

Waco, TX – June 6, 2016 – The Heart of Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes will kickoff Super Centex Victory Bowl week on Wednesday, June 8th. 92 players, 24 volleyball players, 20 cheerleaders, 36 baseball players, 36 softball players, 75 band members and 30 area head coaches make up this year’s eighth annual event representing nearly 80 Central Texas high schools. 

Making up bowl week will be 5 practices, 10 local outreaches, trips to the Dr. Pepper History Museum, a Pancake Eating Contest, a Pep Rally, baseball/softball skills competitions and most importantly the games. 

Tickets for all games are $5 and will be sold on game day. The volleyball game will be played on Saturday at 12:30 pm at University High School, doors will open at 11:00 am. Parking for the volleyball game is free. The football game will be played on Saturday at 6:30pm at Waco ISD Stadium, gates will open at 5:00 pm. Parking for the football game is $5. Baseball and softball will be played on Friday at 6:30pm at UMHB, gates will open at 5:00pm. Parking for both games is free. Game programs and merchandise will be available for purchase. All proceeds go to support the local FCA Ministry. All of the community is welcome and encouraged to come support these local athletes.

June 10th – Service Outreaches, 2:00-4:30 PM

            Red Football/Volleyball Team – Youth Camp (South Waco Rec Center)
