A man was shot Sunday night at the Arlington Farms apartment complex in Waco.
Officers were called to the Hillcrest hospital at 11:30 p.m., an hour and half after the shooting.
The 20-year-old victim, Chantz Hefelfinger, said while he was dumping trash, he was approached by a black car and was confronted by the driver.
Hefelfinger said he heard two gun shots, felt pain in his leg and then passed out.
He was treated for two gunshot wounds in his left knee after a friend brought him to Hillcrest.
Police said the victim was not being cooperative with officers, declining to give a statement or file charges.
