Starting Thursday, May 26, Waco Police Officers are partnering with 7-Eleven to offer free Slurpee drink coupons to kids involved in good deeds, positive activities or random acts of kindness.

The program will be called Operation Chill.

Operation chill was developed by 7-Eleven to positively reward and encourage good behavior by kids during summer months, when communities might see an increase of criminal activity.

The program also gives the police department more opportunities to visit with children in non-law-enforcement situations in hopes of creating a better avenue for communication.
