Ervin, a Waco High graduate, averaged 7.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season. Taylor, a Marlin native, averaged 13.7 points and nine rebounds per game this season to earn first-team all-conference and WBCA Junior/Community College Coaches' All-America Honorable Mention honors.

Women’s golfer Lydia Traylor signed with Tarleton State University. Traylor, of Midlothian, helped lead the Highlassies to a fourth consecutive NJCAA Region V Championship and a 19th consecutive berth in the NJCAA National Championships. She finished tied for fifth in the region to earn all-region honors. As a freshman, she helped lead the Highlassies to a fourth place finish at the national tournament, a regional championship and an NJCAA All-Academic Team award last season. She finished tied for sixth place in the region and 17th place at the national tournament, earning all-region and second-team All-American Honorable Mention honors.
