(CNN) - The current most expensive diamond in the world has new owners.

A Dubai-based company bought the 813-carat rough diamond from Canadian mining firm Lucara for $63 million - a new record for a rough gem.

The diamond, which is called "The Constellation," was pulled out of a mine in Botswana last November and still must be polished and cut.

Lucara is selling another big diamond. The mining firm plans to auction off the second largest diamond ever discovered next month. It’s called “Lesedi la Rona.”

That stone weighs more than 1,100 carats and is about the size of a tennis ball.

The world’s largest diamond is called “Cullinan Diamond,” and was found in South Africa in 1905 weighing 3,106 carats.

That diamond is now in Britain’s Royal Scepter.
