WACO, Texas - Four members of the Baylor track and field team will be in action Saturday at the Longhorn Invitational at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.

Rhys Phillips will open up the day by running in the 110-meter hurdles at 12:10 p.m., while Cody Cunningham and Malik Wilson will take part in both the 100 and 200-meter events at 12:50 and 1:50 p.m., respectively.

On the women’s side, Ashley Fields will compete in both the 200 and 400 meters with the quarter mile event starting at 12:20 p.m. and the 200-meters running at 1:40 p.m.

Saturday will give the athletes a chance to compete in one final meet as each has been limited in action this outdoor season due to various reasons.

Phillips, who is coming back from illness, owns the top 110-hurdle time in the Big 12 this season and the No. 21 time in the country, after running a 13.80 at the Texas Relays in late March.

The majority of BU’s athletes have the weekend off in preparation for the Big 12 Outdoor Championship, which runs May 13-15 in Fort Worth, Texas.
