Two rushed to hospital after head on collision

KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) -

Two people were rushed to the hospital after a head on collision in Killeen early Thursday morning.

First responders were called to the accident just before 2:30 a.m. on Stan Schlueter and Elms.

According to police, a white Lexus crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a red Ford Focus. 

One person was sent to the Carl R. Darnall Medical Center and another was taken to Seton Hospital. 

Their conditions are unknown at this time.

    An independent investigation into the death of University of Maryland football player Jordan McNair has determined that trainers on the scene did not follow proper procedures after he collapsed on the field.
