Waco Police Department Neighborhood Services Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance to identify two "lovebirds" in connection to a case involving counterfeit money.

On a video posted on the Waco Police Department Neighborhood Services Detectives Facebook page, you can see a man going through a drive thru with a woman sitting on his lap.

According to the detectives, the man appears to be driving a Toyota four door when he was at a fast food restaurant drive thru on May 2 after 3:15 a.m.

The video shows the man giving an employee money, but police said it was counterfeit.

Police said they may or may not have known the bills were counterfeited. At this time, authorities would like to talk to the two people who are considered persons of interest in this case.

If you knew either of the suspects, you’re asked to contact Det. J. Clark at 254-750-3662 or Waco Crime Stoppers at 254- 753-4357 and reference Case #16-7987.
