WACO, TX (KXXV) -

A Waco man is behind bars for stealing as many as 300 DVDs, selling several.

Officials believe Cody Wayne Lemons stole the DVDs from a woman’s personal home collection.

Lemons was an acquaintance of the victim who says he had come into her home uninvited on several occasions.

The woman told police that she had loaned Lemons several DVDs and when she was looking for ones he claimed he had returned, she could not find them.

She told police that she received information that Lemons had taken the DVDs to Hastings to sell.

After an investigation, police found that the man had sold 215 DVDs to Hastings between March 2 and April 12. Officials believe the DVDs belonged to the victim.

The total value of the DVDs was $3,465.

Lemons was arrested on Monday and charged with theft.
