No. 2 Aggies Head to Arkansas for SEC West Donnybrook

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies head to Fayetteville take on the resurgent Arkansas Razorbacks in a three-game series starting Friday.

The Aggies have won 11 of their last 12, including a three-game sweep of then-No. 8 Mississippi State in their last road series. After a stretch of going losing 12 of 18 contests, Arkansas has bounced back to win four of its last five games, all against teams ranked in the Top 25.

BOOMER WHITE ranks third in the nation in batting heading into the series with a .432 average, trailing only Southeastern Louisiana’s Jameson Fisher (.446) and Little Rock’s Ryan Scott (.444). J.B. MOSS enters the fray ranked sixth in the nation in runs with 51. HUNTER MELTON ranks sixth in the nation with 54 RBI.

AUSTIN HOMAN enters the game with a 14-game hit streak, equaling the longest of the season for the Aggies. Over the stretch he’s hitting .367 (18-for-49) with 10 runs, one double, 7 RBI, 2 stolen bases and the game-winning hit in A&M’s 10-inning, 4-3 win against Alabama.
