A&M Hosts UT Arlington on Tuesday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 2 Texas A&M Aggies wrap up their five-game homestand Tuesday when they host the UT Arlington Mavericks on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.

The Aggies enter the game with a 41-game win streak in regular-season non-conference home games dating back to April 1, 2014.

Texas A&M is 24-2 at home in 2016. The Aggies are batting .333 on the year with a .428 on-base percentage and .514 slugging percentage on Olsen Field. BOOMER WHITE leads the squad with a .398 average and .504 on-base percentage. HUNTER MELTON is hitting .366 with 28 runs, seven doubles, two triples, six home runs and 41 RBI in 26 home games. The pitching staff owns a 1.89 ERA and .210 opponent batting average.

AUSTIN HOMAN enters the game with a 13-game hit streak, one shy of the season-long this year. Over the stretch he’s hitting .356 (16-for-45) with 10 runs, one double, 6 RBI, two stolen bases and the game-winning hit in A&M’s 10-inning, 4-3 win against Alabama.
