Former Baylor football player Shawn Oakman, who was recently charged with sexual assault, had a previous history of violence.
Police told News Channel 25 that in Jan. 2013, Oakman’s 19-year-old ex-girlfriend filed a police report accusing Oakman of hurting her.
She said the two got into an argument, and Oakman grabbed her by the arms and shoved her around.
She had minor injuries, including a swollen lip.
After filing the police report, she decided against filing charges on Oakman and didn’t pursue an investigation.
She also told police he was her ex-boyfriend, and it was the only time he’d ever been violent with her.
