Fort Hood opens new $51 million training complex

Fort Hood is opening a new $51 million Operational Readiness Training Complex Friday at 10 a.m.

With the completion of these facilities, the training capacity of North Fort Hood increases by 880 people.

Facilities include 800 open-bay bed spaces, 80 officer or senior noncommissioned officer spaces, a dining facility with a 1,428 personnel feeding capacity and an 11,462 SF battalion headquarters.  This project will add 176,836 SF of building space.
