McLennan baseball ranked ninth

The McLennan baseball team is ranked ninth in the first Marucci Sports NJCAA Division I Baseball Poll of the regular season, released today by the NJCAA. The Highlanders were ranked seventh in the preseason poll released in January.
 
Santa Fe (Florida) holds the top spot, followed by San Jacinto (Texas) in second and Chipola (Florida) in third. Connors State (Oklahoma) and Neosho (Kansas) round out the top five.
 
Grayson (seventh) is the only other Region V team in the poll.
 
The Highlanders have an overall record of 32-9 and are 14-6 in conference play.
