The Central Texas College Gay-Straight Alliance will host a free Safe Space training workshop Friday, April 1 in the Anderson Campus Center.
The workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and repeated 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The program is designed to heighten awareness, educate and shed light on many challenges faced by gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
They hope to increase the amount of safe zones on school campuses and in the workplace.
Topics include understanding sexual and gender identities and the coming out process.
