Mavs' Cuban apparently rejecting Jordan's Twitter apology

DALLAS (AP) - Mavericks owner Mark Cuban apparently isn't accepting DeAndre Jordan's apology for reneging on a deal to sign with Dallas in free agency.

Cuban, responding a day after Jordan's Twitter apology, wrote on his Cyber Dust messaging app Saturday, "When's an apology not an apology? When you didn't write it yourself. Next."

The outspoken billionaire owner has said Jordan never responded to his messages Wednesday, a day before contracts could be signed. Cuban was aware of reports that Jordan was having second thoughts about leaving the Los Angeles Clippers, who re-signed the 6-foot-11 center.

Jordan finally broke his silence Friday, apologizing for a "change of heart" and calling Cuban "one of the best owners in the world."

Cuban also praised Zaza Pachulia, Jordan's replacement, in Saturday's message. Dallas traded for the former Milwaukee center Thursday.
