Store Owner Releases Video of Theft Suspect

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

A store owner at Spice Village in Waco has released surveillance video of a woman who stole from their store.

Video shows a woman taking jewelry in one of the downtown shops and placing them into a black bag she is carrying. Store owners say she took more than $6,000 worth of merchandise without paying. It's not known how many visits she made to the store.

We are told that she stole so much of one brand, the shop had to stop selling that line of products.

Waco PD detectives posted a picture of the woman to Facebook on Monday to try and identify the suspect.

If you recognize the woman, call Detective James with Waco PD at (254) 750-3674 or call Crime Stoppers at (254) 753-HELP.
