A 26-year-old Austin man was arrested in Temple over the weekend after he was found with nearly two pounds of marijuana after being involved in a minor crash.
Richard Seghetti has been charged with possession of marijuana over 4 ounces, but under 5 pounds after being arrested Saturday night.
Police say Seghetti was involved in a two car accident just after 10 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of West Central Ave. As officers were investigating the accident, they couldn't help but notice the large amount of marijuana in the back seat.
A further check of the truck turned up more marijuana. After weighing it all, police say it totaled just under two pounds.
