A Fort Hood soldier is being held in the Bell County Jail facing a litany of charges files by Army investigators.
The charges filed against Sgt. Timothy LaSean Lawrence allege 12 specifications related to maltreatment, obstruction of justice, rape, sexual assault, and sodomy, which is in violation of articles 93, 120, 125, and 134, of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Sgt. Lawrence is assigned to the 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade. The court-martial is scheduled for May 26.
The charges stem from the victim's report, to military authorities, of a June 2014 assault that is said to have taken place at an off post residence in Killeen.
