Three arrested, meth seized from Temple home during search

TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) - Temple police arrested three and seized almost 50 grams of methamphetamines during a search of a Temple home Thursday morning.

Temple Police Department's Special Investigations Unit and the Temple Police Department SWAT team served the search warrant at 6:20 a.m. at a home in the 900 block of S. 23rd St. in Temple.

During the search, authorities seized just over 46 grams of meth.

Officers found 22-year-old Devon Juergens at the scene and found that he had active warrants from the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole the Bell County Sheriff's Department. He was arrested and taken to the Bell County Jail.

53-year-old Russell Parrish and 43-year-old Janet Tomme were also arrested at the scene and later charged with possession of a controlled substance over 4 ounces with intent to distribute.

    The Federal Aviation Administration's announcement late Wednesday comes nearly a year after the engine's manufacturer recommended the additional inspections, and a month after European regulators ordered their airlines to do the work.
