Police have released surveillance photos and are hoping the public can help them identify two men who robbed a Temple convenience store early Friday morning.

Temple PD officers were called just after 2 a.m. on May 8 about a robbery at the Cefco Convenience Store in the 600 block of N. 3rd St.

Responding officers were told two men went into the store, pointed a handgun at the clerk, and demanded money. The two suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing north on foot.

The clerk was not injured during the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Temple Police Department at (254)298-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-729-TIPS (Local (254) 526-TIPS).
