Man Dragged Out of Car in Robbery, Assault

WACO, TX (KXXV) - Waco police are on the lookout for three robbery suspects after a man was dragged out of a car and assaulted at the intersection of 17th Street and Webster Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

Officers say the victim, Gabriel Vega, got into a red car with one woman and two men after the three offered him a ride.

Once inside, investigators say the two men assaulted Vega, dragged him out of the car and stole his phone and cash.

The suspects then took Vega to 808 South 10th Street and pushed him out onto the street. Paramedics found Vega after a homeowner called police saying he was injured and bleeding on the porch of the home.

Vega was rushed to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest.

No arrests have been made as of yet.
