Police investigating kids being jumped at knifepoint by other student

KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) - A Killeen PD official confirms a 12-year-old student and a friend report being jumped and threatened with a knife while walking home from school last Friday, May 1.

Police report the student was walking home from school with a friend when another student they reportedly knew jumped the two of them in the 4100 block of Alan Kent Dr. and stole their backpack.

Police were told the backpack was later returned to the students, and that's when they claim to have been threatened with a knife.

Police have not released any further details regarding this case. They are continuing to investigate.
