Seven Arrested in Connection to Bell County Burglaries

BELL COUNTY, TX (KXXV) - UPDATE: Jeremiah Leland Daniels and Charlie Cheyenne Sullivan were both indicted on a charge of theft over $1,500-under $20,000 on September 10.

Bell County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested seven people in connection with a loosely organized burglary ring.

The arrests were made Tuesday night for incidents that have been occurring since January of this year.

Among the arrested was Lane Andrew Pickle, a 27-year-old soldier on Fort Hood.  He was arrested because his DNA matched an item of clothing left at one of the crime scene.

Also arrested were 31-year-old Jeremy Hisle of Belton, 25-year-old Amber Croteau of Belton, 51-year-old Donna Mayhew of Killeen, 38-year-old Caroline Johnson of Harker Heights, 23-year-old Charlie Sullivan of Temple and 33-year-old Jeremiah Daniels of Temple.

Deputies say Mayhew drove a getaway car during a burglary in Salado.

Some of the property has been recovered, according to deputies.

Two or three more arrests are expected in the future.
