Police seek help to identify robbery suspect

TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) - Temple police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who robbed a convenience store back in July.

On July 23, officers responded to the 7-11, located in the 4100 block of South 31st St. in Temple, at 3:40 a.m. about a robbery that just happened.

A store employee told officers that a man came into the store, got some items, then walked out of the store. The employee went to call police as the man left the store, when the employee told police that he saw another man standing by the window, pointing a rifle at him.

Both men fled the scene to the west. Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the suspects. No injuries were reported.

We have attached a picture of the robber, taken from the store's security system.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about these suspects, or this robbery, to call the Temple Police Department at 254-298-5500 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-729-TIPS or (254) 526-TIPS.
