NEW YORK, NY, August 09, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The US 2013 Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) recently released a report suggesting that female entrepreneurs are far happier in both their work and home environment that their male counterparts. The report found that despite many women still experiencing less pay than their male colleagues, the overall working attitude of business women and female entrepreneurs are remaining positive.

The report suggests that female entrepreneurs may be less happy during the start-up phase of their business enterprises, with only 7% of female back business ideas receiving funding. However once their businesses are established female entrepreneurs well-being is double that of female non business owners.

Around 1 in 10 women in America are starting up or successfully running their own business, which is a figure higher than in any other country. Of those female business owners it's estimated that 3.73million are looking positively towards the future of their enterprises and have high hopes of their businesses growing beyond 5 employees over the coming years. Sales and marketing firm CroMex are thrilled with the results of the latest GEM report and hope the news will convince more women that entrepreneurship is a valid and enjoyable career option.
