4th of July celebrations across Central Texas

CENTRAL TEXAS - Here are details about some 4th of July celebrations across Central Texas

The 16th annual HEB All American Family Fun Fest will be at Miller Park, 1919 North 1st St. in Temple.


4:00 p.m. – Games, Activities, and Food: Inflatables, Face Painting, Splash Pad, Playground and More

6:00 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies: City of Temple Mayor Danny Dunn

6:30 p.m. – Live Music Begins on the Temple Mall Entertainment Stage featuring Jenna McDaniel and the Sloppy Joe Band

9:30 p.m. – Spectacular Fireworks Show

It is is free and open to the public.

Fort Hood will hold an Independence Day Celebration that will start at 5 p.m., in Hood Stadium, which is behind the Clear Creek Post Exchange.

There will be music, food and a 30 minute fireworks show set to begin at 9:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Belton will be having their 4th of July Parade starting at 10 a.m. Friday. The parade starts on Main Street at 10th Avenue, travels south on Main Street to Central Avenue, turns east on Central Avenue, turns left on Birdwell and ends on 4th Ave.

Waco will be hosting their annual Fourth on the Brazos event. There will be music, food, the Corndog Classic is set to start at 7:50 p.m., and HEB's Fireworks Extravaganza will begin at 10 p.m.
