CHINA SPRING -

Police have arrested a man and woman who are accused of stealing items from at least four different cars in the China Spring area.

Stacey Billings and Vincent James Foster have both been charged with four counts of burglary of a motor vehicle and their bonds have been set at a combined $8,000 for the charges.

Waco police were called out at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, to the 1000 block of Valencia Ln. in China Spring, after a resident saw two people messing around in his car, and found that they had stolen items out of his car.

According to police, the caller confronted the two people and noticed they had stolen items. While police were processing the scene, they found that three other cars in the area had been broken into and recovered stolen property from those cars as well.

Officers then took 28-year-old Billings and 19-year-old Foster into custody and held them on multiple counts of burglary of a motor vehicle.
