UPDATE: Woman abducted in Killeen found, man in custody

UPDATE: Police say Jessyca Lauren Hartzler Shannon has been found while investigating her abduction Tuesday. She is in a hospital being treated for her injuries.

Police say they have her husband, Wesley Bo Shannon, in custody. Witnesses reported seeing him force her into a car Tuesday afternoon.

Jessyca Shannon was found after she turned up at a Llano hospital overnight Tuesday seeking treatment.

Wesley Shannon was arrested a short time later and remains in the Llano County Jail with bond set at $200,000. He faces a charge out of Bell County for burglary of a habitation with intent other felony, and a theft charge out of Coryell County.

Killeen police are investigating a possible abduction after a woman appeared to be involved in a domestic dispute Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called out to the 1200 block of Missouri Ave. at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday. Witnesses told police that they saw a struggle between a man and woman, and the man forced the woman into a silver or gray 2007 Hyundai Elantra with CST-6532 Texas license plates, and fled the area.

The car was seen in the Lampasas area about 2 p.m. and both were inside. Officers were told that Wesley Bo Shannon possibly forced his wife, Jessyca Lauren Hartzler Shannon into the vehicle and could be holding her against her will.

Wesley Shannon is a 19-year-old man, described as 6-foot tall, and weighing 140 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes, a teardrop tattoo under his left eye, and was last seen wearing a white shirt and jeans.

Jessyca Hartzler Shannon is a 26 year old woman, who is 5-feet tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt and jeans.

Officers are asking anyone who sees the car or either Wesley or Jessyca Shannon, to contact their local police department to check on the Jessyca’s welfare.

Police continue to investigate, and will release more information as it becomes available.
