TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) -

Police are investigating two robberies that occurred at a Temple convenience store over a two day period.

Temple police were called out just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning, to the Cefco Texaco convenience store in the 3800 S. 31st St., about a robbery. An employee there told officers that a man came into the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. No one was injured during the robbery.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect, who is described as a 20 to 30-year-old black man, who is 5-foot-7 and weighs 150 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, tan belt, and black shoes during the robbery. The picture attached to this story is a picture of the suspect.

The next day, officers were again called out to the Cefco Texaco convenience store for another robbery. This time, the robber pointed a black revolver at the clerk and demanded money. He made away with cash, and fled on foot. This suspect is described as a black man, wearing a mask, a gray button down style shirt, black pants, and black shoes.

Police are not sure if the two robberies were related, but officers are asking anyone with information about these cases to call the Temple Police Department at 254-298-5500 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-729-TIPS (Local (254) 526-TIPS)
