MOODY - A 20-year-old Moody woman is in the McLennan County Jail, accused of hitting her boyfriend with her car.

Leah Renee Apperson has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Moody police say officers were called to a home in the 300 block of Ave. E about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night, for a domestic disturbance.

Apperson was arrested after police were told that during the argument, she had gotten into her truck, put it in reverse, and backed into her boyfriend. The victim went over the truck, and into the back glass.

The victim's injuries were described as non-life threatening.
