TEMPLE, TX (KXXV) - A burger shack in downtown Temple was damaged by fire and heavy smoke Saturday night.

Temple fire crews responded to the fire just after 10 p.m. Saturday. They found smoke coming out of the two story downtown commercial building Wes's Burger Shack & More on South Main St. Fire crews had to force their way into the restaurant, where they found near zero visibility conditions.

They cleared the smoke inside with a fan and moved in finding the spot of the fire. A thermal imaging camera located the fire in the ceiling, which was quickly extinguished.

Investigators say the fire was electrical and started in the ceiling above a storage closet. The fire has been ruled unintentional.

No injuries have been reported and it's unclear how much damage it caused.
