15 people arrested for Copperas Cove meth investigation identified

COPPERAS COVE, TX (KXXV) - Fifteen people have been arrested after area law enforcement agencies investigated the sale of drugs, mainly methamphetamine, in the Copperas Cove area.

The Copperas Cove Police Department and Bell County Organized Crime Unit conducted the investigation, which spanned six months and resulted in 36 indictments.

The charges ranged from delivery of a controlled substance, less than one gram, to delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more, but less than four grams in a drug free zone. The punishment for these charges range from state jail felonies to first degree felonies.

Police say that fifteen people have been arrested in connection with the investigation, as of June 3.

Those arrested were: Deborah Ann Collins, Leslie Irue Evans, Theresa Annette Ray, Lacey Michelle Spencer, Keith Brandon Oder, Kelly Rossiter-Stroud, Edith Louise Tratt, Robert Earl Eversole, Betty Jean Kidd, Johnnie Dean Heitzman, Sean Patrick Nelson, Chris Donte Thomas, Rebecca Williams, Shaun Christopher Thompson, Leslie Adam Rollins.
