Police arrest man accused of stealing from Waco business

WACO, TX (KXXV) - A 22-year-old has been arrested for stealing barbecue equipment from a Waco restaurant.

Steven Anthony Clay Jr. faces a charge of burglary of a building.

Police received a call about a theft in progress Thursday morning at a restaurant called, Pop Walton's BBQ. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stealing propane tanks, chairs, a ladder and other items.

Clay was taken into custody and police were able to recover the stolen property.
