Waco police looking for witnesses of motorcycle crash

WACO - The Waco Police Department is looking for any witnesses of a motorcycle crash that occurred on Friday, May, 16, in the 1400 block of West Loop 340, very near the Hyundai and Ford dealerships.

Police say at 1:45 p.m., a motorcycle was on Loop 340, when a white SUV-type vehicle changed lanes, which caused the motorcyclist to lose control and crash. The vehicle left the scene without stopping to help the motorcyclist.

The driver of the motorcycle received significant injuries, and has already undergone two surgeries to repair broken bones.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may know of the SUV vehicle or driver, to call Detective James Head at (254) 750-3656 with information. Callers do not have to reveal their identity.
