Waco double murder suspect accused of previous aggravated robbery

Posted:
WACO - The man who was charged for the double murder in Waco on May 13, now faces more charges for an aggravated robbery on May 10.

Waco officers responded to an aggravated robbery at 38th and Frederick, at 10 p.m. on May 10. Police say a man had gone into Hap's Ice House and was returning to his vehicle, when another man, who police later identified as Todric McDonald, parked near his vehicle.

While the man was heading to his vehicle, McDonald is accused of saying something to the man, then displaying a gun. After McDonald took out his handgun, the man ran away. The victim told officers that as he was running, he heard McDonald tell him to drop his stuff.

The victim told officers he continued to run away, and heard several shots being fired at him, as well as McDonald after chasing him for a short time. He hid for several minutes, before making his way back to the store, to find that his 2001 GMC Yukon had been stolen.

Detectives identified the suspect of this robbery as McDonald. He was arrested Friday afternoon for the May 13 double murder at a Waco apartment.
