WACO - A 19-year-old has been arrested after he ran from officers while being interviewed in connection with a reported burglary.

Alex Fuentes Jr. has been charged with evading arrest and possession of marijuana under 2 ounces for the incident. He also faces a charge of burglary of a habitation.

Waco police were called to a home in the 1500 block of Shepherd at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on a reported burglary. Officers arrived and found that a video game system, clothing, two TVs and other items had been taken.

During interviews, a suspect was developed, and during a check of another home, some of the items were recovered.
