Authorities seek man accused of trying to abduct boy in Falls County

FALLS COUNTY - The Falls County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man suspected of trying to abduct a boy from the front yard of a house on FM 712 on Sunday.

Constable Richard Aleman says the family was in their front yard for a Mother's Day BBQ. The parents had just stepped inside when a man pulled up in a 2000 black 4-door Chevy Impala, with chrome blade rims.

Aleman says the man then began calling the boy over to his car. When the boy didn't respond, the man got out of his car, pulled on a ski mask and tried to take the little boy from the yard. The boy was able to get away.

Authorities are looking for a black man in his early 30s, who had a white female passenger, with tattoos all over her, and was about the same age as the man.

Anyone with information about this incident or this suspect is asked to call Fall County Sheriff's Office at (254) 883-1431 or the Constable's Office at (254) 733-4226.
