Severe storms possible across Central Texas Monday

CENTRAL TEXAS, TX (KXXV) - It is a mild and muggy start to your work week with temperatures in the 70s as you head out the door. A cold front will be tracking into Central Texas late Monday. This front will bring high storm chances. Some of these storms could be strong to severe with hail and damaging winds being the main threats. We will also see a chance for flash flooding. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 4 p.m. Monday afternoon until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning. The rest of the week is looking very nice. Lows will be chilly in the 40s both Wednesday and Thursday but highs will be nice in the 70s. By Friday highs will reach the 80s and lows will be in the 50s. We will stay dry Wednesday into the weekend.
