Morning crash in Limestone County leaves one dead

LIMESTONE COUNTY - A 22-year-old Groesbeck woman is dead from a morning crash just north Groesbeck in Limestone County.

DPS reports Kezia Tanee Ledford was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Judge Freda Greeninger.

Ledford was driving a 2000 Dodge Intrepid that was southbound on State Highway 14. The 59-year-old driver of a 2000 Dodge Ram pickup pulled out from a stop sign on Limestone County Road 456, and the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the Ram pickup was transported to Limestone County Medical Center in Groesbeck. Her condition is unknown at this time.

The investigation into this wreck remains open.
