Waco home damaged after late night fire

MCLENNAN COUNTY - A two story Waco house is about 50% damaged after it went up in flames late Monday night.

Fire crews were called out after the fire started about 11:30 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of N. 6th St. in Waco.

Firefighters were able to put out the blaze in about 30 minutes and they say the house is about 50% damaged.

Four adults and a dog were in the home, but they were able to make it out safely. The Red Cross is going to help them.

The Fire Marshal is investigating the cause. At this point, he thinks it started on the second story of the home.
