WACO, TX (KXXV) - Police arrested a 24-year-old accused of pulling a knife on another man and not allowing a woman and her 11-month old to leave a Waco home.

Scott Sebastian Barragan faces charges of aggravated assault and unlawful restraint for the incident.

Steve Anderson with Waco PD says Barragan was arrested after officers received a call on a possible disturbance at a home in the 600 block of S. 16th St.

Officers spoke to the ex-husband of the victim in this incident. He told police that he had taken his children to their mother's home, and when he got to the house, he could hear a lot of yelling and screaming.

He told police that he was then confronted at the door by Barragan. Barragan told the ex-husband everything was okay, but at some point, they started arguing, and Barragan is accused of pulling a knife on him.

Officers went to the home on S. 16th St., but could not get anyone to answer the door. Officers heard a female yell that she wanted out of the house. Officers forced their way in and Barragan was arrested without incident. Police say Barragan did not let the victim and her 11-month old leave the house.
