Killeen ISD superintendent to resign in August

KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) - Dr. Robert Muller has announced his resignation as the superintendent of the Killeen Independent School District, effective Aug. 31, 2014.

Dr. Muller has worked for Killeen ISD since 2003, and has been superintendent since Oct. 2008. He will leave his position to become a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas A&M University, according to a release from Killeen ISD.

The Killeen ISD board of trustees accepted Dr. Muller's resignation April 22, in a scheduled workshop.

“I would like to personally thank all of the KISD board members, current and former, with whom I have had the opportunity to work," said Dr. Muller. "The dedication that each trustee brings to the business of this district is remarkable. As I prepare to exit the district I do so believing that Killeen ISD is well positioned for the future."
