Police seize $10,000 worth of cocaine, arrest one

BELL COUNTY - A 34-year-old Temple man has been arrested after police seized $10,000 worth of cocaine during an investigation into cocaine being distributed to the Temple and Killeen area.

Quention Lavelle Jeffries has been charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. He was arrested by the Bell County Organized Crime Unit on Wednesday, April 17.

This case comes from an investigation by the Bell County Organized Crime Unit. Jeffries was suspected of distributing large quantities of cocaine in Bell County.

Authorities seized crack cocaine and powder cocaine, which has an estimated street value of $10,000, during the investigation. A handgun and a large amount of cash was also seized.

Jeffries is currently being held in the Bell County Jail, pending his initial appearance before the Federal Magistrate in Waco.
