WACO - Police have arrested two people accused of buying items off of Craigslist using counterfeit money. Three people were arrested back in January in this case.

Tony Williams, 30, and April McGolrick, 23, have been charged with engaging in organized crime. McGolrick also faces numerous traffic warrants and a charge of violating housing code. Dennis Glenn Bridger, Tony Glenn Fisher, and Samantha Williams-Karcher were the three arrested back in January in this case.

Police say the five arrested were involved in a scheme in which the they were using fake money to buy items from Craigslist. Police say they received at least 24 cases connected to the five arrested.

Police say there were thousands of dollars involved in the purchase of iPhones, iPads, laptops, and other high end items. They were mostly bought with $100 bills, that turned out to be counterfeit.
